In a luxurious BallRoom hall of a five-star Fairmont Grand Hotel a final of the Miss Ukraine Universe 2016’ contest took place. This year selection committee of the contest having taken into account that now it’s not the right time for solemnities in the country took a decision to spend the ceremony in a closed format. However, there were fairly enough stars who visited the ceremony.

As regards the jury the winner of the ‘Miss Ukraine Universe 2016’ was chosen by representatives of various spheres. There was a plastic surgeon, a programmer, a football player, and even a gymnast. One foreigner was in the jury as well, a Swedish singer Bosson who also gave joy to the guests by his vocal. 300 contestants took part in the Miss Ukraine 2016 selection, but only 15 Ukrainian beauties fought for the victory.

From 15 beauties who claimed victory in the Miss Ukraine 2016 contest the jury chose five finalists. The 2nd vice-miss in the result became a 25-year-old girl from Kiev Yulia Zakharova. The 1st vice-miss was a 26-year-old Yulia Gershun from Dnepropetrovsk. A crown of the winner was put upon the head of 18-year-old Alyona Spodanyuk.

Having parameters 33 – 25 – 37 inches at height of 71 inches she just conquered the jury and now photos of the winner will appear in all mass media. From the girl’s comment it became clear that the winner’s parents live in the Crimea and this year she wants to enter Kiev National University of Culture and in future become a TV presenter to tell people only good news. In the past when she was 12 she has already belonged to the youth Olympic reserve of Ukraine. The girl used to be a professional handball player for 5 years. By the way, Alyona told that she was inspired to participate in the Miss Ukraine Universe 2016 contest by Jamala’s victory on Eurovision 2016.

It’s worth noting that a year ago in the annual Miss Ukraine contest an 18-year-old girl from Kiev Kristina Stoloka became a winner. 25 girls of various ages from various cities of Ukraine fought for the title of the most beautiful girl. A girl from Kiev Anna Vergelsaya won the crown of Miss Ukraine Universe 2015 this year. It once again confirms Kiev’s reputation as a city of the most beautiful women in Ukraine.
